XTOOL KC501 Key & Chip Programmer

The XTOOL KC501 is a powerful key and chip programming tool designed for high-security vehicle brands such as Volvo and Mercedes-Benz. It supports infrared key reading/writing for Mercedes, dealer key generation, MCU/EEPROM chip read/write, ECU data access, MC9S12 encrypted chip handling, remote frequency detection, key ID reading, and EEPROM backup within the immobilizer module.

How to Update the KC501 Key Programmer?

The KC501 automatically checks its software version when connected to a compatible XTOOL diagnostic device. If an update is available, it will download and install the latest version automatically. Alternatively, connect the KC501 directly to a PC via USB cable to initiate automatic detection and update.

XTOOL KS-1 Key Programmer for Toyota

1. KS-1 for Toyota Smart Key – All Keys lost Solution

Enables creation of new smart keys for Toyota vehicles using 94/98/88/A8/A9 chips—even when all original keys are lost. Reset capability via battery reinstallation ensures reliable operation.

Note: The KS-1 cannot function independently with XTOOL diagnostic tools. Requires pairing with either KC100 or KC501. Use KS-1 + KC100 or KS-1 + KC501 for full Toyota, Lexus, and Scion smart Key Programming support in all keys lost situations.

2. Compatible Devices
