LAUNCH CReader 529 is a newly released DIY OBD2 scanner designed for engine diagnostics.

Key Functions of LAUNCH CR529

1. Read and Clear Engine Error Codes
   Turn off the 'Check Engine' MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light).
2. Live Data / Freeze Frame
   When emission-related faults occur, specific vehicle conditions are recorded to help pinpoint the source of the issue during repairs.
3. I/M Readiness
   Indicates whether emissions-related systems are operating properly and ready for Inspection and Maintenance testing.
4. VIN Code Reading Automatically
   Automatically retrieves the VIN code from the vehicle’s ECU.
5. Hard (Memory) Codes Reading
6. Pending Codes Reading
7. Oxygen Sensor Test
   Retrieves and displays O2 sensor monitor test results from the most recent tests stored in the vehicle's on-board computer.
8. On-Board Monitor
   Displays results of On-Board Monitor tests—useful after servicing or clearing the vehicle’s control module memory.

No need to search online for error code definitions. Use the DTC Lookup menu: enter an error code, and the scanner displays its definition.
