Battery Information: The SLK-06 is battery powered. Note that a battery is not included with the emulator and must be obtained locally. Three standard battery types are compatible:

• CR1616
• CR1620
• CR1632

If the battery is removed, all data from the emulator will be lost. When power is restored, the default data will be loaded into the transponder memory.

The transponder can be reset to its default state simply by removing the battery.

Battery life has not been tested extensively, as the primary function of the SLK-06 is to capture data within a few minutes. Ensure the battery voltage does not drop below 3V, or the emulator may fail to save data.

Toyota H Immobilizer All Keys Lost Solution (All Markets)

I. Getting Started

Introduction

This guide applies to Tango software version 1.114 (April 2019) and later.

This function enables an All Keys Lost (AKL) solution for Toyota vehicles equipped with the 128-bit H immobilizer system (Page1 39, 59, 3A, 5A), regardless of region (EU/Asia/USA). Using the SLK-06 sniffer and LKP-04 transponder, a master key can be created, allowing diagnostic authorization for adding new keys—without replacing or resetting the immobilizer. Vehicle data remains unaltered during the process.

SLK-06 Overview

The SLK-06 is battery powered. Note that the battery is not included and must be purchased separately. Compatible models: CR1616, CR1620, CR1632.

Removing the battery erases all stored data; reconnecting power restores the default transponder state.

Data retention relies on stable battery voltage—do not allow it to fall below 3V.

II. Operation Procedure

Solving an All Keys Lost scenario on Toyota H immobilizer systems—especially in EU/Asia regions—requires a specialized approach. The Tango solution involves three main phases:

1. Obtaining Data (Sniffing)
2. Calculation (Calculate Data)
3. Master Key Creation (Write Transponder)

1. Obtaining Data (Sniffing)

1. Disconnect the vehicle battery for 1–3 minutes.
2. Reconnect the vehicle battery.
3. Insert the battery into the SLK-06 (LED will blink briefly, then turn off).
4. Hold the SLK-06 close to the ignition lock, as if using a key.
5. Insert a blank metal key (without transponder) into the ignition and turn it to ON.
6. If steps 1–5 are correct, the SLK-06 LED will begin blinking. Keep the device near the ignition until the LED stops blinking and remains solid red. This completes the first data capture phase.

Important: Do not remove the battery from the SLK-06 emulator during this process!

7. Turn the ignition switch OFF and remove the key.
8. Repeat steps 4 to 7 to complete full data collection.

After completing steps 1–8, verify successful data capture using the Tango software’s Autodetect feature:

SLK-06 not programmed.
Default state after battery replacement.

Note: During Autodetect, Tango will turn OFF the SLK-06 LED. This is normal—the captured data remains intact.

2. Calculation (Calculate Data)

1. Connect Tango and launch the software.
2. Select Region: Asia, then navigate to Toyota → Utility → SLK06 Sniffer.
3. Place the SLK-06 into the Tango coil.
4. Click Run Online Calculation (internet connection required).

A confirmation message will appear indicating that the server has received your request and processing has begun.

Processing time ranges from 6 minutes to several hours, depending on server load and other factors.

Once the data is uploaded, the SLK-06 is no longer needed—you may remove its battery.

Tango does not need to stay open. You may close the software, disconnect the device, or perform other tasks. If left open and connected to the internet, Tango checks calculation status every minute.

5. Check your request status by clicking Check Calculation Status.

6. Upon completion, you’ll be prompted to save a result file.

This step is optional and allows you to proceed with Master Key Creation later or run another calculation immediately. Our servers retain the data from your most recent queued calculation indefinitely.

A previous calculation is erased when a new request is submitted.

If you submit a new request while a previous one is still processing, you’ll receive a warning that the current calculation will be canceled, with options to continue or abort.

3. Master Key Creation (Write Transponder)

1. After calculation completes, place a blank LKP-04 transponder in the Tango coil.
2. Click Write from Online Service.

2.1 If you saved the calculation file earlier, use the Write from File option instead.

The resulting LKP-04 transponder acts as a master key for the vehicle and can be used with any Toyota-compatible diagnostic tool (e.g., Techstream) to add additional keys via diagnostics.

III. FAQ and Remarks

Q: The SLK-06 sniffer does not blink?

A: Possible causes include: battery not inserted or low charge, improper placement near ignition, low vehicle battery, or vehicle hardware issues. Test the sniffer in Tango: insert battery, start software, and use Autodetect.

Q: During data capture, the SLK-06 LED blinks but never turns solid red?

A: Data capture failed. Currently, approximately 50% of vehicles with H immobilizers are supported. Compatibility cannot be determined by model, year, region, or part number.

Q: Error: "Calculation error. Please make a new sniffing and try calculate again"

A: No SLK-06 detected or blank data—ensure the device is properly placed and that Steps 1–8 of data capture were completed.

Q: Error: "Detected zero captured frame. Expected at least two frames."

A: Data capture steps (1–8) were not fully performed.

Q: Error: "Detected one captured frame. Expected at least two frames."

A: Step 8 of the data capture process was skipped.

Q: My vehicle has an H immobilizer with key Page1 20.

A: At this time, Page1 20 is not supported. Only main types Page1 39, 59, 3A, and 5A are supported.
