For vehicles before 2017, key matching requires soldering wires to read and write to the KVM RFA module. For vehicles after 2017, key matching requires replacing the KVM RFA module's MCU. Careless operation during these two steps can easily cause the module to lose communication, so a communication test of the KVM RFA module is required before installation.

The cable has two ends, one end for -2017 JLR KVM modules and the other end for 2018-2025 KVM modules. If you have done something to the KVM module, connect the KVM module with diagnostic tool to test the KVM communication status.

Note: This cable cannot be used to read and write KVM module for key programming purposes.
