How to Use the Chevrolet Remote Key Copy Machine to Make a New Key

Before copying the original key, ensure that both springs of the copy machine make contact with the metal part of the key:

• Left side: contacts the metal part of the key head

• Right side: contacts the round contacts

1. Bring the key you want to copy and place it on the copy machine as shown in the image.
   
2. Press the "Copy" button once. You will hear two or three beeps, indicating that the machine has finished reading information from the original key.
   Note: The number of beeps may vary depending on the car model.
   
3. Place the new key on the copy machine and press and hold the "COPY" button for three seconds. You will hear two or three beeps when the process is complete.
   
4. Try starting your car with the new key. If successful, the original key has been copied correctly, and the new key functions identically to the original.

Note: If you hear a single long beep at any point during the process, the copy was unsuccessful—please restart the procedure.
