Usage of Focus Mode Switch (CDAF&PDAF Switch)
1.Turn off camera and take out the battery;
2.Insert battery and hold down the switch on the adapter;
3.Turn the camera on again. Mode switched!
Notice: PDAF is default mode recognized by the camera

1. Quick and easy firmware update. Connect the adapter to computer with micro USB cable. The computer will recognize the adapter as a new drive. Copy and paste the latest firmware download from Commlite website into the new drive. Firmware update completed!
2. PDAF give fast and accurate focus for both AF-S and AF-C mode.
3. CDAF mode is not fast as PDAF, however, it support the following functions:
- Support AF across the frame rather than small area limited by the Phase Detection area of camera
- Support Eye AF
- Shows focal length information for zoom lenses on both viewfinder and screen
- Support DMF focus mode
4. Other features:
- Auto detect EF or EF-S lenses and auto switch between full frame and APS-C format
5. Product limitation:
- AF-C in CDAF is not ideal. Please use PDAF mode for AF-C
- AF-C in video mode is not support. Half press shutter is needed to confirm and fix focus
Please Note:Continuous autofocus(AF-C) function is not available in video mode.
