Core Functions of the Autel MaxiTPMS ITS600E

4 Effective Ways to Program TPMS Sensors
The Autel ITS600E enables replacement of failing or depleted TPMS sensors by programming data onto new Autel MX-Sensors. Four flexible programming methods are available:
- Copy by OBD: Retrieves sensor IDs directly from the vehicle’s ECU via diagnostics. Select a wheel location, place an MX-Sensor near the ITS600E, and tap “Copy by OBD.” This method programs the sensor without requiring a relearn procedure afterward—making it the recommended approach when available.
- Copy by Activation: Trigger an existing (but functional) sensor on the vehicle to capture its data, then copy that information to a new MX-Sensor. Since the ID remains unchanged, no relearn is needed.
- Copy by Manual Input: Manually enter the original sensor ID if the physical sensor is broken but its ID is known, then program it onto a new MX-Sensor.
- Auto Create 1–16 Sensors: Automatically generate new unique IDs for 1 to 16 MX-Sensors when the original sensor is completely dead or its ID is unknown.
Note: Always program MX-Sensors before installing them into tires. The ITS600E can only program Autel-brand MX-Sensors.
3 Ways to Relearn TPMS Sensors
TPMS relearning transfers new sensor IDs to the vehicle’s ECU so it recognizes the sensors. This step is required whenever new sensor IDs differ from those originally stored. The ITS600E provides clear, step-by-step instructions for all supported vehicles and offers three relearn methods:
- OBD Relearn: Directly writes TPMS sensor IDs to the TPMS module through the V200 wireless interface.
- Automatic Relearn: For compatible vehicles, simply drive following the on-screen prompts—the system completes relearning automatically with no additional steps.
- Stationary Relearn: Place the vehicle into “Relearn Mode” and follow the guided procedure to complete the process while the vehicle remains stationary.
TPMS Retrofit Capability
- Building on the foundation of Autel’s MK808TS and MP808TS, the ITS600E allows you to install a complete TPMS system from scratch. Retrofit TPMS modules into the ECU and link new sensor data to display real-time tire pressure, temperature, and sensor status on the dashboard. With the included kit of 4 Autel MX-sensors, you can perform a full TPMS retrofit in a single session.

4 Integrated Reset Services
Unlike earlier Autel models (TS508/TS601) that focused solely on TPMS, the 2022 ITS600E goes further by integrating four essential maintenance reset functions—saving time and avoiding dealer visits:
- Oil Reset: Resets the Engine Oil Life system after an oil change, enabling accurate calculation of the next service interval.
- EPB Service: Deactivates and reactivates the electronic parking brake, assists with brake fluid management, opens/closes brake pads, and resets brakes after disc or pad replacement.
- BMS Service: Evaluates battery charge state, monitors closed-circuit current, registers battery replacements, activates vehicle rest mode, and supports battery charging via the diagnostic socket.
- SAS Calibration: Recalibrates the Steering Angle Sensor after steering wheel replacement, SAS replacement, or any related maintenance.

Quick Vehicle Identification
The ITS600E streamlines vehicle recognition with four efficient methods: Auto VIN Detect, Scan License, Scan VIN, and Manual Input—helping technicians save significant time during setup.

Expanded Tire Service Integration
When paired with the Autel TBE200E MaxiTPMS Tire Tread and Brake Disc Wear Examiner, the ITS600E delivers in-depth tire analysis and comprehensive reporting:
- Real-time Tire Health Analysis: Displays live tire measurement curves, identifies uneven wear patterns, provides detailed tread and brake disc assessments per wheel, and offers actionable maintenance advice—including tire/brake replacement, rotation, alignment, and DOT-based expiration alerts with recall lookup.
- Comprehensive Test Report: Combines TPMS health status, tread depth, brake disc wear characteristics, and expert repair recommendations.
