Engine Full OBD2 Diagnostic Capabilities
- Reading Codes: Shows the detailed description of the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
- Erasing Codes & Reset: Turns off Check Engine Light (MIL), clears codes, and resets monitors.

How to Verify Emission Test Readiness with This Code Reader
After entering the I/M Readiness menu, a list of up to 10 monitors appears: Misfire Monitor, Fuel System, Component Monitor, Catalyst Monitor, Heated Catalyst, EVAP System, Secondary Air System, O2 Sensor, O2 Sensor Heater, and EGR and/or VVT. Each will display “OK” if functioning properly. Note: Not all vehicles support all 10 monitors.

- Click “Update Tool” to download the software.
- Decompress and install it on your PC (compatible with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10).
- After installation, connect one end of the USB cable to your PC’s USB port and the other end to the tool.
- Once the tool is powered on, Launch the update tool on your computer. The system will read the tool and automatically navigate to the update center.
- Click [Upgrade] to begin the update process and wait until completion.

FAQ
Question: System halts when reading data stream. What is the reason?
Answer: It may be caused by a loose connector. Please turn off the tool, firmly reconnect the connector, and power it on again.
Question: Screen of main unit flashes at engine ignition start.
Answer: Caused by electromagnetic interference—this is a normal phenomenon.
