Advanced Conductive Way, No Need to be Fully Charged
Without the need of bringing the battery to full discharge, as the old school way to test a battery, the TOPDON BTMobile boasts the rapid and safe conductive measurement as the most advanced method to determine the ability of a battery.
The main advantages of conductance testing include:
1. Can test batteries that are low or almost completely discharged;
So the test can be done with the battery in the vehicle and without disconnecting the terminals.
2. Can be repeated multiple times on the same battery without draining the battery (unlike a traditional load test, which pulls out a lot of amps);
So saves time because there’s no need to recharge the battery before or after testing.
(: As a battery ages, its internal components gradually wear out through corrosion, disintegration, shedding, electrolyte dry out, and other mechanisms. When this happens, conductance is unable to be restored and declines as the battery degrades, leading to failure.

FUNCTIONS:
1. Battery Test (for 12V battery): Display SOH (State of Health), SOC (State of Charge), Voltage, Current, Rating, and the readable analysis results on App:
① Display SOH (State of Health, %): Represents a measure of the battery’s ability to store and deliver electrical energy, compared with a fresh battery.
② Display SOC (State of Charge, %): Expressed as a percentage of its rated capacity, a measure of its condition to assess the potential energy.
③ Display Battery Internal Resistance Value (mΩ): The lower the internal resistance, the more current the battery can output. The value above 15 milliohms indicates a broken battery (12V).
2. Cranking Voltage Test: Analyze the actual cranking voltage, and the cranking time to help you quickly figure out the whole state of the starting system
① Cranking Voltage (Normally a Cranking Voltage value lower than 9.6V is regarded as abnormal.)
② Cranking Time.
3. Charging System Test: Test different parts of charging system, including generator, rectifier, rectifier diode etc., for a reliable charging volt value.
