A: Follow these steps:
- Remove the EIS unit from your vehicle.
- Connect the EIS according to the connection diagram.
- Read the EIS data.
- Load the data into the SKC calculator to generate key data, then use the AK500+ to write it to a new key.
Q: Can the AK500+ perform Read/Write on NEC Keys via Infrared and Fast Erase NEC Chips via socket?
A:
- Infrared Read/Write NEC Key: Only supported for old keys; not available for new keys.
- Fast Erase NEC Chip via Socket: Requires the chip to be a NEC type and must be removable/renewable.
Q: I cannot find the 95xxx adapter. I don’t have a 95 adapter to connect to 95xxx on the AK500+ main unit, so I can't read ECU or ESM data. Some videos mention it's included in the package, but I didn't receive one. Please provide a 95xxx chip adapter, otherwise I cannot use the device properly.
A: The current AK500+ SKC model does not include a 95xxx chip adapter. Unlike older AK500 models, the AK500+ with SKC calculator does not require you to remove the ECU. Using AK500+ with SKC is simpler and more efficient than the older version with the 95xxx adapter.
Q: I tried to renew a NEC chip without placing any chip on the socket, but the device still attempts to erase. Shouldn't it show an error? Why does it continue erasing with no chip present?
A: The AK500+ cannot renew a NEC chip via socket while it's installed in the key. You must physically remove the NEC chip and place it on the chip dashboard for renewal.
