How to Update Autel MaxiIM IM608 Software

The IM608 Update application enables downloading the latest software versions. Updates enhance capabilities by adding new vehicle models, tests, and improved applications. The tablet automatically checks for updates when connected to the internet (if Notifications Center is enabled).

1. Ensure the tablet is connected to power and has stable internet access.
2. Open the Update app via:
   • Job Menu > Update button
   • Update notification message
   • Vehicle Menu in Diagnostics app > Update icon
3. Select update options:
   • Tap Update All under IMMO or Diagnose tab to update all items.
   • Select individual items and tap Update for selective updates.
4. Use Pause to suspend and Continue to resume from the same point.
5. After download completes, firmware installs automatically, replacing the previous version.
